Job summary

Mayer, part of Rexel USA, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join the Mayer Team in Auburn, AL. You will drive sales and marketing efforts, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and promote our electrical products and services.

You’ll generate new business, upsell to existing customers, collaborate with leadership and suppliers, assist customers with product selection, and maintain up-to-date records of calls and quotes while leveraging digital tools and CRM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products to customers.
• Increase business by selling to new customers and by upselling to existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers to plan sales strategies and develop new markets.
• Assist customers with product selection and application using internal experts and supplier reps.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Coordinate sales calls with vendors to introduce products and quote solutions.
• Utilize digital tools and CRM to track activities and report market trends.
