Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a Field Supervisor to provide leadership, management and supervision for electrical projects across commercial and industrial sectors.

You will oversee safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and equipment on site. The role requires coordinating crews, scheduling materials and equipment, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of field supervision/management experience.
• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• High level interpersonal relationship skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to manage teams of electricians and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely.
• Lead crews including apprentices and journeypersons; delegate tasks and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Lay out work and schedule materials, tools, and equipment to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure quality and client satisfaction by reviewing plans, resolving issues, and overseeing project close-outs.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, budgets, time constraints, and quality standards.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for personnel as directed.
• Coordinate with field staff and support teams, including estimators and finance.
• Engage with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors involved in project activities.
• Maintain required licensing and training requirements.
• Perform related duties as required.
