Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical supervisor to lead installations across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. You will manage a small crew, plan tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field staff and customers while maintaining project schedules and compliance with NEC and local codes. Strong leadership and blueprint interpretation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have journeyman-level electrical skills and knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings for installations.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a crew of 1–6 helpers, apprentices, and journeypersons.
• Oversee on-site installations, ensuring safety and quality per SOPs and codes.
• Plan tasks with supervisors to meet project deadlines and budget.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, vendors, and field staff.
• Ensure proper material control and orderly job site practices.
