Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and supervision for electrical projects in commercial and industrial sectors.

You will manage safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating crews of 20+ employees, planning layouts, scheduling materials, and ensuring project quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent studies/experience.
• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Four+ years of field supervision/management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; organized; tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews of electricians; ensure on-time, on-budget, safe projects.
• Manage crews including apprentices and journeypersons; delegate tasks.
• Plan work layouts and schedule materials, tools, equipment to meet scope and schedule.
• Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction; review plans and specs.
• Maintain SOPs, costs, time constraints, and quality standards.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain licensing and training requirements.
• Perform other related duties as required.
