Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating complex construction, infrastructure, utility or EPC projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, scopes, sketches, and specifications.
• Solid understanding of labor, materials, equipment, logistics and cost drivers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates from drawings, scopes and specs.
• Analyze scope, methods, labor, materials, equipment and site conditions.
• Develop estimating assumptions when design data is incomplete.
• Identify cost drivers, risks, constraints, and project assumptions.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, project management and operations.
• Evaluate foundations, access roads, site development and crane requirements.
• Develop cost models, databases and supporting docs.
• Support budgets, forecasting, and appropriation processes.
• Participate in field visits to assess existing conditions.
• Manage multiple estimating assignments and meet deadlines.
