Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and contract documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and contract documents.
• Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs for power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and low-voltage systems.
• Develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare bid summaries and proposal documentation.
