Job summary

Linked, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Millstone, NJ. The role focuses on high-voltage electrical installations for commercial construction and infrastructure projects across New Jersey and New York.

The ideal candidate will analyze complex drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate bids. Projects may reach up to $100 million, including public-sector and transit work, with travel across NJ and NYC boroughs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical estimating experience.
• Experience estimating commercial, industrial, infrastructure, public-sector, or high/medium-voltage projects.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software and takeoff tools (Accubid, Con Est, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed labor, material, and equipment estimates from design through bid documents.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and addenda to define scope of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, low- and high-voltage systems.
• Prepare bid proposals, cost breakdowns, and documentation per bid requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess conditions and requirements.
• Forecast man-hours, labor, crew sizes, and project costs; consider union labor where applicable.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
