Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to determine costs and resources for electrical construction projects. The role involves analyzing project plans, specs, drawings, and supplier data to produce accurate material, labor, and equipment estimates.

You will maintain a cost database, prepare bid proposals, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and seek cost savings through value engineering while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 - 3 years of Estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field; combination of relevant education and / or field experience considered in lieu of degree
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screen

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Quantify materials, labor hours, and equipment needs.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bids for clients.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors.
• Maintain up-to-date cost database and tender documents.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering.
• Assess project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Document estimating activities for stakeholders.
