Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
Analyze electrical drawings and specifications to identify components and quantities.
Perform material and labor takeoffs and obtain pricing from suppliers.
Maintain an up-to-date cost database for materials, equipment, and labor.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals for clients.
Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
Assess risks, document assumptions, and prepare contingency plans.
Maintain records and generate reports on estimating activities.
