Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Houston to estimate costs and resources for electrical construction projects.

You will review plans, quantify materials, labor, and equipment, and prepare detailed proposals to help clients make informed decisions. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of estimating experience, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of estimating experience.
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screen.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Analyze electrical drawings and specifications to identify all components, layouts, and equipment needed.
• Perform material takeoffs and estimate labor hours for installation, testing, and related tasks.
• Maintain an up-to-date cost database with pricing information for materials, equipment, and labor.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for bids and communicate estimates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering throughout the estimating process.
