Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support our retail/commercial projects, including new construction and remodels. The role is full-time and onsite in Justin, TX or Alpharetta, GA, with occasional travel and relocation assistance as needed.

Responsibilities include detailed takeoffs with Accubid Anywhere, vendor/client coordination, and bid analysis to forecast potential awards. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and owners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with spreadsheets.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial electrical field and materials.
• 2+ years estimating commercial electrical projects in similar construction.
• Knowledge of national, state, and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere and estimating software.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
• Review project plans, specs, schedules, and bid documents to identify needs.
• Meet deadlines with strong time-management skills.
• Prepare detailed proposals and post-bid client engagement for accurate forecasting.
• Attend pre-bid or team scope meetings to review complete scope of work.
