Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Alpharetta, GA. This full-time, onsite role focuses on retail/commercial projects, including new construction and remodels.

You will perform takeoffs with Accubid Anywhere and collaborate with vendors, engineers, and owners to prepare detailed estimates. The position requires 2+ years of commercial electrical estimating, strong communication, time management, and proficiency with Accubid Anywhere and MS Office.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of estimating commercial electrical projects in commercial construction or remodels.
• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and owners.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Full working knowledge of Accubid Anywhere is required (training available).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets; familiarity with on-screen takeoff programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere and develop proposals.
• Review bid documents and schedules to identify estimates.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and vendors on cost changes.
• Lead and mentor junior estimators and support teams.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and post-bid client discussions.
