Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Estimator to support our retail/commercial new construction and remodel projects.

This full-time onsite role is based in Justin, TX or Alpharetta, GA, with some travel (0-25%) and a Monday–Friday schedule. You will perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere, develop vendor relationships, review plans, prepare detailed proposals, and lead bid packages through award and handoff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating commercial electrical projects.
• Strong communication with customers, vendors, and owners.
• Proficiency with Accubid software required.
• Familiarity with national, state, and local codes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Review plans and bid documents to identify needs.
• Prepare detailed proposals and post-bid forecasting.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors on cost estimates.
• Lead bid packages through award and handoff.
• Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with teams.
