Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support our retail/commercial projects in Justin, TX or Alpharetta, GA. This full-time role focuses on takeoffs, bid preparation, and client/vendor coordination to drive accurate forecasts and competitive bids.

You will work with a team, mentor junior estimators, and help ensure on-time project handoffs through bid closeout. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of commercial electrical estimating, strong communication, proficiency with

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating commercial electrical projects.
• Experience with Accubid software (Anywhere) required.
• Excellent communication with customers and vendors.
• Familiar with codes and contractor workflows.
• Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheets.
• Ability to produce accurate, timely estimates.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere.
• Review bid documents and prepare detailed proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Lead pre-bid meetings and post-bid handoffs.
• Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with team.
