Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support our retail and commercial projects, including new construction and remodels. The role is onsite in Alpharetta, GA with typical M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

You will perform takeoffs with Accubid Anywhere, build strong vendor/customer relationships, review bid documents, and prepare detailed proposals. The position includes guidance to junior estimators and collaboration with engineers, architects, and owners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating commercial electrical projects (new construction & remodels).
• Excellent communication with customers,vendors, subcontractors, general contractors and owners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Accubid software; training available for Anywhere product.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using Accubid Anywhere.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
• Review plans, specs, schedules and bid documents to identify what is needed for an estimate.
• Prepare detailed proposals and engage clients post-bid for accurate forecasting.
• Attend pre-bid meetings to understand the complete scope of work.
