Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Electrical Engineering Intern to apply standard engineering techniques and assist lead engineers on projects. Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education related to the work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project issues.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
