Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns to support standard engineering design tasks, update designs, and assist lead engineers on various projects across markets. The role emphasizes data entry, documentation, and presentation preparation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree, ABET accreditation is preferred, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and are legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Legally eligible to work in the country of position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
