Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Vancouver, WA to support standard engineering tasks across transmission & distribution projects. You will assist with data entry, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations while learning from lead engineers.

Applicants should be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program (Bachelor's or Master’s) with a strong GPA and active campus involvement. U.S. work authorization is required and full-time internship hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an accredited program.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to the work done in the department.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
