Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard engineering tasks, assist lead engineers, and help with project duties across market segments from the Global Facilities group. Responsibilities include data entry, documentation, research, and presenting solutions.

A 3.0 GPA and legal authorization to work in the United States are strongly preferred. The role covers tasks across multiple markets and emphasizes growth, leadership, and collaboration, with a focus on developing

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education/technical program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus, community or other organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns and recommend improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
