Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns in Denver, CO. Interns will perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques: design, update, and support lead engineers on various projects across Power, Global Facilities, Transmission & Distribution, Water, and other markets.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering or related field, ABET preferred, minimum 3.0 GPA, and eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program related to the work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active campus or community involvement encouraged.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
