Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Minneapolis to support project teams across Aviation & Federal and Transmission & Distribution markets. You will assist with design tasks, data entry, and presentations while gaining exposure to multiple engineering streams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with lead engineers, data analysis, and learning through hands-on assignments. Strong communication skills and a drive to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions and ad hoc project tasks.
• Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to project concerns.
