Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in Brea, CA, to support Transmission & Distribution projects. You’ll assist with design tasks, data collection, documentation, and presentation preparation while learning from lead engineers in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program, maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher, and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, and presentations.
• Respond to general questions and support project tasks.
• Collect and analyze data for continuous improvement efforts.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
