Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in San Diego to assist with standard engineering tasks, design updates and project support. Responsibilities include data entry, documentation, and presenting solutions to concerns.

The role requires pursuit of an Electrical Engineering degree, good to strong GPA, and effective communication skills. Prior internship exposure is a plus, with a supportive environment for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a related post-secondary program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship/consulting experience preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry and documentation.
• Support lead engineers with project duties and tasks.
• Participate in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Present solutions to project concerns and ideas.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
