Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in Columbus, OH to support standard engineering design tasks, data entry, and project duties under lead engineers.

You will assist with filings, research solutions, present outcomes, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining a 3.0 GPA and active campus involvement.

This paid internship offers exposure to manufacturing facilities, data centers, and other markets with growth opportunities to develop technical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related post-secondary program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to project concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
