Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns to apply standard engineering techniques to assist lead engineers on diverse projects across market segments, including Global Facilities. Duties include design assistance, updating drawings, data entry, documentation and preparing PowerPoint presentations.

The internship emphasizes collaboration, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and active campus or community involvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with ABET accreditation preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related post-secondary program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with standard engineering design tasks and project duties.
• Support with data entry, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Analyze data and present solutions to project concerns.
• Collaborate with teams across market segments including Global Facilities.
• Complete ad hoc project tasks as assigned by managers.
