Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support design tasks, update existing plans, and assist lead engineers on a variety of projects across market segments. The role emphasizes learning, data analysis, and effective communication.

The candidate should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably ABET-accredited, with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project issues.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
