Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Houston, TX. You will assist lead engineers, perform standard design tasks, and help with project duties across markets.

The role emphasizes data analysis, presentation support, and collaborative problem solving while you gain hands-on experience. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program with ABET preference, a 3.0 GPA, and active campus involvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and documentation.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and respond to general questions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by data collection and analysis.
• Present solutions to project concerns and research potential fixes.
• Support ad hoc projects assigned by managers.
