Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard design tasks, update designs, and assist lead engineers on projects across market segments. The role involves data handling, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations as part of team support.

Candidates should be pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree, with ABET accreditation preferred, and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized, accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to the work done in the department.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
