The Acuity Inc. BUILD Leadership Program in Atlanta, GA offers a two‑year rotational experience for early‑career engineers. Participants rotate every six months across different functional areas to build business acumen and technical proficiency.

BUILD is designed for curious, adaptable talent with strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills. The role is onsite in Atlanta, starting July 12, 2027, with travel up to 20% and long‑term career opportunities at Acuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Intermediate general proficiency with AI tools.
• Exposure to Altium Designer or other CAD tools.
• Exposure to developing products for the lighting and/or LED industry.
• Exposure to firmware development or embedded systems programming.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through functional areas: New Product Development, Sustaining/VAVE, and other tracks.
• Engage in onboarding, mentorship, and leadership activities.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders across the business.
• Participate in project leadership report‑outs and reviews.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and learning experiences.
