Job summary

Eight Sleep, based in San Francisco, seeks an Electrical Engineer to bring new products to market. You will own designs from concept through mass production, working on PCBs, prototypes, and production support with close collaboration across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent required.
• MS or advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Asia as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio and LED drivers.
• Prototype new concepts to assess feasibility.
• Support designs including schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization, production test coverage, and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, manufacturing, and product team members.
• Define testing requirements, fixtures, and equipment to qualify the functionality of components and assemblies for mass production.
