Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to bring new products to market from a focused San Francisco team. You will own electrical decisions, prototype through production, and collaborate with multiple disciplines, including overseas suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing mixed analog and digital systems for consumer electronics or similar applications.
• Highly proficient with ECAD packages, especially Altium.
• Expertise with SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DOE, root cause, statistical analysis and other quality measuring techniques.
• BSEE or equivalent - MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio, and LED drivers.
• Lead electrical system development including schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization, production test infrastructure, and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, and product teams, as well as manufacturing and overseas suppliers.
• Generate novel ideas and prototype new product concepts and architectures to define our path forward.
