Job summary

Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to bring new products to market from a San Francisco base. You’ll own electrical system decisions, design PCBs, and work across hardware and software teams to scale rapid product innovations.

The role requires 5+ years in analog/digital design, Altium expertise, and SMT/flex PCB process knowledge. You’ll join a fast-paced, high-performance team driving sleep technology forward.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing mixed analog and digital systems.
• Proficiency with ECAD packages, especially Altium.
• Expertise with SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DOE, root cause analysis and quality measurement techniques.
• BSEE or equivalent; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design consumer electronic devices with MCUs, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers and sensors.
• Lead electrical system development: schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization; production test infra; reliability testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, embedded software, industrial design, product and overseas manufacturing teams.
• Generate novel ideas and prototype concepts to define product roadmap.
