Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in refinery and oil & gas projects. The role focuses on developing electrical designs and installation packages from concept through startup in a hybrid Toledo, OH setting.

You will design low‑voltage systems (≤480 VAC), work with panels, MCCs, and VFDs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Travel and strong safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Experience working on refinery/oil & gas projects is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight about 20–25%.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET‑accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering designs and installation packages from concept through startup.
• Create electrical control panels, MCCs, and VFD panels.
• Apply NEC/NFPA and client standards to electrical designs.
