Job summary

Signal Energy is seeking a Principal Engineer, Electrical to serve as the subject matter expert and primary reviewer for PV and BESS electrical engineering efforts. You will develop and implement electrical design standards, mentor the engineering team, and ensure constructable designs align with client and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering.
• PE license in one or more US states.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve a robust set of design standards, templates and best practices.
• Recruit and mentor electrical engineering team members that embody Signal Energy’s Core Principles.
• Oversee electrical engineering efforts to ensure deliverables are submitted on time and compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
