Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to support planning, design, and inspection of electrical systems for construction projects. You will ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and project specs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, design, construction, or project support.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or progress toward Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
Basic knowledge of applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Familiarity with electrical drawings, technical specifications, engineering calculations, power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and evaluate electrical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Conduct site inspections to assess electrical installations, identify deficiencies, and verify code compliance.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
Monitor project progress, quality, and safety requirements.
