Planate Management Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support planning, design, implementation, and inspection of electrical systems for construction projects. You will ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes efficiently.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 2–4 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, design, construction, or project support.
• EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for reviewing and editing electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and evaluate electrical designs, drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Perform site inspections to verify installations and code compliance.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance against plans and specs.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and cost estimates.
• Identify electrical hazards and recommend corrective actions.
