Job summary

Contract Staffing Recruiters.com is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer 2 with 5+ years of experience to lead electrical design decisions, ensure safety and technical accuracy, and coordinate construction documents on complex projects.

The role requires AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, NEC/NFPA knowledge, and willingness to travel to client sites. A PE license is strongly preferred, with opportunities to mentor a design team.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer with minimum of 5 years of experience.
• BSEE or equivalent degree.
• Proven design experience in building operation, energy use, and building electrical systems.
• Must be able to use AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and design.
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes, including NEC, NFPA 72 and 101.
• Must be able to travel and visit work sites as necessary to the job at the time convenient for the clients, contractors and building managers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills in the particular area of expertise by attending conferences and participating in industry standards organizations such as NFPA, IES, etc.
• PE License strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design work using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Present electrical design to owner/architect when required.
• Serve as a field engineer during construction phase of a project.
• Coordinate the contract documents between engineering disciplines and architectural details.
