Job summary
Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support planning, design, implementation, and inspection of electrical systems for construction projects. You will ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, project specifications, and quality while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
The role involves reviewing drawings, conducting site inspections, testing systems, and preparing reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, design or construction.
- EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings and calculations; CAD tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and evaluate electrical designs, drawings, specs, and documents.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with plans and codes.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other disciplines.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety per project specs.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and cost estimates.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
