Planate Management Group invites applications for an Electrical Engineer to support planning, design, implementation, and inspection of electrical systems for construction projects. The role ensures compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with AutoCAD and Revit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2–4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, calculations, power distribution, lighting and grounding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and evaluate electrical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct site inspections to assess electrical installations and verify compliance with codes.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve issues.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance with specifications.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, cost estimates, and documentation.
• Identify electrical hazards and recommend corrective actions for safety.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs for compliance.
• Provide technical recommendations to address design discrepancies and construction challenges.
