Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support planning, design, implementation, and inspection of electrical systems for construction projects. You will ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years’ relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework.
2–4 years in electrical engineering, design, construction, or project support.
Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and power distribution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for drawings and models.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and evaluate electrical designs, drawings, specs, and docs.
Conduct site inspections to verify installations comply with plans and codes.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and other disciplines.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety with established project specs.
Prepare reports, inspection records, cost estimates, and docs.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs for compliance.
Provide technical recommendations for design and field conditions.
