Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering seeks a Kentucky-licensed Professional Electrical Engineer to support DOE facility modification work in Paducah, KY. The role focuses on electrical design for industrial and nuclear facilities, including design documentation, specifications, test planning, and field support at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. DOE experience and a PE license in Kentucky are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky.
• DOE experience and experience in industrial, chemical or nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for DOE facility modification projects.
• Develop and review electrical specifications, calculations, and design drawings.
• Support start-up operations, testing, and field visits as required.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards and site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and design leads to meet schedules.
