Job summary

Markon seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Facility Design organization at the Knolls Site. You will work on construction projects involving buildings and utility infrastructure, defining scope and developing documentation, and overseeing firms delivering designs and cost estimates.

The role requires regular onsite work with up to 20% remote capability and is based in New York.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE L clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects at the Knolls Site within a multidisciplinary team.
• Define project scope with sponsors and develop technical specs.
• Review and develop construction documentation and cost estimates.
• Oversee architectural/engineering firms delivering designs and cost estimates.
• Support construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs and inspections.
