Markon Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory's Facility Design organization at the Knolls Site in New York. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team on construction projects for buildings and utility infrastructure, defining scope, and producing technical and construction documentation.

The position requires onsite work at Knolls Site with possible remote work up to 20% and a DOE L clearance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE L clearance.
• Experience with construction documentation and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects at the Knolls Site as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Define project scope with project sponsors and develop technical specs and documentation.
• Develop and review project cost estimates and electrical design deliverables.
• Review drawings and construction documentation for electrical work.
• Provide electrical support during construction and oversee firms producing designs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with facility personnel, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project execution.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, and inspections during construction administration.
