Markon, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Facility Design organization at the Knolls Site. The role involves defining project scope, developing tech docs, and supervising firm work during construction.

The position requires onsite work with up to 20% remote time. Candidates must have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus the ability to obtain a DOE L clearance. Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• DOE L clearance eligibility required or ability to obtain.
• Working knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Experience with construction administration (submittals, RFIs,Inspections).

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects at the Knolls Site.
• Develop technical specifications and project documentation.
• Review design deliverables and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Provide electrical engineering oversight during construction.
