Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering, preferably a sophomore or junior.
• Strong interest in Building Systems Electrical Engineering.
• AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work full time in the Columbus office during the co-op term and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement electrical system basics such as power, distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for new constructions and renovations.
• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of electrical systems for buildings.
• Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Assist the design team in assembling organized drawing sets.
• Support data collection and field verification; collaborate with designers and engineers.
