Primary responsibilities include developing procurement specifications, maintaining standards, and guiding capital projects with cross-functional staff. This role requires analytical thinking and strong communication skills in a dynamic public-works

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles for electric utility materials and construction.
• Ability to perform basic statistical analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using GIS, CAD, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
• Capable of reviewing bid specifications and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to develop materials specifications and construction standards for electric materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with experts to provide electrical product training and support installation standards.
• Assist in analyzing quotations, proposals, and bids for total owning cost and conformance.
• Develop technical specifications and stock item descriptions from vendor information.
• Collaborate with users to update guidelines and standards for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support to field and design personnel for projects.
