Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II to provide technical engineering support to senior engineers, ensuring projects meet requirements, standards, and specifications. You will help develop power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation, and value engineering for constructible designs.

Responsibilities include leading projects of limited scope, reviewing submittals, generating specifications, and performing electrical system analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, construction sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of Engineering Experience.
• Engineer-In-Training is encouraged to pursue registration as a Professional Engineer.
• LEED AP is desired for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff assigned to your work or team.
• Review, comment on, and process equipment and system submittals in coordination with the Engineer of Record.
• Develop complete and accurate sequences of operation for electrical systems.
• Prepare power system single-line diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Perform electrical system modeling and conduct studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash).
• Coordinate study results with project specifications, equipment procurement, and construction requirements.
