Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Salem, NH is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design and validation for marking and coding equipment. You will collaborate with FPGA, software, mechanical, and reliability teams to implement robust hardware solutions and test benches for product validation.

The role requires a strong foundation in schematics, VHDL, SPICE, and hardware testing, with hands-on experience across PLCs and microcontroller platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Hardware verification.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design Engineering for new and legacy products.
• Implement hardware design based on requirements specifications.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulations to ensure operation across environmental factors.
• Develop and implement hardware test plans.
• Design and document interconnects and harnesses.
• Observe design for manufacturing, test, field service and cost constraints.
• Interface with other engineering teams and customers to understand requirements.
• Support current products by finding design solutions to obsolete components.
• Communicate with OEM manufacturers and third-party partners to verify solutions.
• Participate in electrical and cross-functional design reviews.
• Work hands-on with PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other hardware.
• Collect data, document, and report test results.
