Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design and validate new electronic hardware for marking and coding systems. You’ll work with FPGA, analog/digital circuits, and test benches, collaborating with software, reliability, and mechanical teams to ensure robust production-ready designs.

The role involves developing hardware test plans, performing circuit analysis and SPICE simulations, and supporting manufacturing with DFM considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to read electrical/electronic schematics.
• Experience with FPGA/HDL and test bench development.
• Familiarity with instrumentation like oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for new and legacy products.
• Implement hardware designs based on specifications.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans and validation.
• Interface with software, reliability, and mechanical teams.
• Support manufacturing with design for manufacturing considerations.
