Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Salem, NH seeks an Electrical Engineer II to create advanced electronic designs for marking and coding equipment. You will collaborate with FPGA developers, software, mechanical and reliability engineers to translate requirements into tested hardware solutions.

The role involves designing, validating, and building test benches, plus interfacing with suppliers and customers to ensure robust performance in varying environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; firmware and hardware verification preferred.
• Ability to read/write schematics and VHDL for FPGA.
• Experience with circuit design, SPICE simulations and test equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and microcontroller platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for new and legacy products and hardware.
• Develop hardware test plans and document interconnects.
• Interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Support production by addressing obsolete components.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulations across environmental factors.
